Clubin Terms of Use

Effective and last updated: 27 September 2026

Operator: Clubin · Contact: abcstudioapp@gmail.com

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Clubin app and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, selecting “I agree,” or using the Service after being shown these Terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Clubin Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal data and forms part of these Terms by reference.

Nothing in these Terms removes consumer or other legal rights that cannot be excluded or limited where you live. If a term conflicts with such a mandatory right, that term applies only to the extent the law allows.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the minimum age for using this type of service is higher where you live. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf where required by law and supervise your use. You must also meet the requirements of any third-party platform you use with Clubin.

Keep your account and device access secure, provide accurate information, and promptly correct information that becomes inaccurate. You are responsible for activity through your account unless it results from our breach of a legal duty. Do not sell, transfer, or impersonate another person through an account.

2. What the Service does

Clubin helps players discover and post opportunities to find teammates, compare player preferences, and share contact methods chosen for a post. Clubin is a listing and connection service. We do not employ, represent, background-check, or guarantee any player, club, team, post, invitation, response, match, or successful joining. You are responsible for deciding whether to contact or play with another user.

Some content may be sample, synthetic, cached, or based on public third-party information. It may be incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or inaccurate. Sample or synthetic content is illustrative and is not a real recruitment offer. Do not rely on a listing without checking it with its publisher.

3. Your content and permission to use it

You keep ownership of content you submit. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it, including permission to share any club details, images, usernames, or contact information it contains.

When you submit content, you give Clubin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, transmit, and make that content available only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service, enforce these Terms, and comply with law. We may allow our hosting and other service providers to process it for these purposes. The licence ends when the content is removed, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period, content already shared or saved by others, and records we must retain or may retain for legitimate safety, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes. This licence does not transfer ownership to Clubin.

4. Rules for using Clubin

You must use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

5. Safety, posts, and contact with other users

Review a post and the person or club behind it before acting on it. Use care when sharing or receiving game IDs, Discord IDs, club information, or other contact details. A post’s publisher controls which contact methods are offered and is responsible for having authority to share them. Once information is shown to another user, Clubin cannot control copying, retention, or use outside the Service.

Clubin does not supervise private conversations, game sessions, or offline meetings and is not responsible for another user’s conduct. Do not share passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information. Report suspected abuse through the in-app reporting tools and block users where appropriate. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

6. Moderation and account action

We may review reports and take proportionate action where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or our legal interests. This may include removing or limiting content, restricting a feature, suspending or ending an account, or preserving and disclosing information when legally required. We may act without advance notice when needed to address an urgent safety, security, fraud, or legal risk; otherwise, we will try to give notice where practical and lawful. We do not promise to review every item or prevent every harmful interaction.

7. Clubin intellectual property and third parties

The Service, including Clubin software, branding, and original materials, is owned by Clubin or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.

Clubin is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Electronic Arts Inc., EA SPORTS, EA SPORTS FC, or any console, game, or communications platform. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Third-party services and public data are governed by their providers’ terms and may change or become unavailable. Clubin is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

8. Availability and warranty disclaimer

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service for operational, safety, legal, or product reasons. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes where practical. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or that user or third-party information will be accurate. This section does not exclude any warranty or service standard that the law does not allow us to exclude.

9. Limits on liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clubin and the people and providers who help us operate the Service will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or loss of profits, opportunity, data, goodwill, or business, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clubin’s total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid directly to Clubin for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100. This limit applies regardless of the legal theory and even if a remedy fails its essential purpose.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any non-waivable consumer rights or liability for death or personal injury where the law prohibits exclusion. Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud or intentional misconduct where such limitation is prohibited.

10. Your responsibility for claims caused by your use

To the extent permitted by law, you will reimburse Clubin for reasonable losses, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from a third-party claim caused by your unlawful use of the Service, your material breach of these Terms, or content you submitted that infringes another person’s rights. This does not apply to the extent the claim was caused by Clubin’s own breach of these Terms or applicable law. We will give you reasonable notice of a claim and allow you to participate in its defence; no settlement may impose an admission or non-monetary obligation on you without your consent, not to be unreasonably withheld.

11. Privacy, retention, and account deletion

Our Privacy Policy describes personal data we collect, how we use and share it, and how long we retain it. You can request account deletion using the in-app settings. Deletion and retention are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and remain subject to records we must keep by law or reasonably need to retain for security, fraud prevention, disputes, or enforcement.

12. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may revise these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will update the date above and, when required or appropriate, give notice in the Service and ask you to accept material changes before continued use. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service and request account deletion. You may stop using Clubin at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will do so, including content licences for retained copies, intellectual-property rights, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

Except where mandatory law in your place of residence says otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction. You may bring a claim in another court where mandatory consumer law gives you that right. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent relief from a court with jurisdiction.

14. General terms and contact

If a court finds a provision unenforceable, it will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable, or severed if adjustment is not possible; the rest remains in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the Service, provided this does not remove your mandatory rights. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and Clubin about the Service, subject to any additional terms shown for a specific feature.
