Clubin ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Clubin.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information
when you use the Clubin mobile application (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in
accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
In-Game ID — The game username or tag you enter voluntarily
to connect with teammates. This is stored on our servers and protected by
industry-standard encryption (see Section 9).
Discord ID (optional) — If you choose to share your Discord
handle. You may leave this blank.
Platform & Positions — The gaming platform (e.g. PS5, PC,
Xbox) and preferred player positions you select. Used solely for matchmaking.
Tactical Preferences — Gameplay style preferences such as
attack rhythm, defensive line, passing style, and formation choices. Used for
matchmaking compatibility.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
Approximate Region — We use a third-party IP Geolocation
service (ipapi.co) at first launch to infer your country or region for
matchmaking purposes. We never store your IP address; only the
derived region (e.g. "Asia", "Europe") is retained.
Anonymous User ID — Firebase assigns an anonymous
authentication token when you first launch the App. No name, email, or phone
number is associated with this token.
Push Notification Token — A Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
device token is stored to deliver in-app notifications such as request
approvals and call-to-arms alerts. This token is deleted when you delete
your account.
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

4. Data Storage & Retention
All user data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore),
hosted in Google's secure cloud infrastructure.
Instant mode post listings expire and are
automatically closed after 10 minutes (plus a 5-minute grace period).
Long-term mode post listings expire after 30 days.
Expired posts are cleaned up automatically by scheduled
server-side processes (Cloud Functions).
Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently
removed within 30 days, including posts, applications, block lists,
favourites, notifications, and report records.
Anonymous UIDs are deleted from Firebase Authentication simultaneously.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
ipapi.co— IP Geolocation service used at first launch only to detect
approximate region. Only the country code is read from the response;
no user-identifying data is sent or stored.

6. Advertising
This App displays ads served by Google AdMob.
6.1 Data Collected for Advertising
Google AdMob may collect the following data to serve personalised or
non-personalised advertisements:
Advertising Identifier (IDFA on iOS / GAID on Android)
Approximate location (country-level)
Device information (model, OS version)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
6.2 iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS 14 and above, the App will ask for your permission to track your
advertising activity across apps via Apple's App Tracking Transparency
framework. You may choose to Allow Tracking or
Ask App Not to Track. If you decline, only
non-personalised ads will be shown. This does not affect core App functionality.
6.3 GDPR / Consent (EEA & UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom,
you will be presented with a consent dialog before any ads are loaded,
in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the
UK GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time in the App's Settings.
6.4 Opting Out of Personalised Ads
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking →
disable tracking for Clubin, or enable "Limit Ad Tracking".
Android: Settings → Google → Ads →
"Opt out of Ads Personalisation".
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under 13. By using this App, you
confirm that you are at least 13 years of age.
If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their
data and terminate their session. If you believe a child under 13 has provided
their information, please contact us at

7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion — Request deletion of your data (see Section 8 below).
Portability — Request your data in a portable format.
Objection — Object to processing of your personal data.
Withdraw Consent — Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.

8. Account & Data Deletion
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time:
Open the App and go to Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm deletion in the dialog.
Upon deletion, all your data — including posts, applications, block list,
favourites, notifications, report records, In-Game ID, Discord ID, FCM token,
and region — will be permanently removed within 30 days.
This action is irreversible.
We take reasonable and industry-standard measures to protect your information:
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS / TLS.
All data at rest is encrypted using Google Cloud's infrastructure-level
encryption (AES-256).
Firebase Security Rules restrict data access so that users can only
read and write their own data. Contact information (In-Game ID, Discord ID)
is only shared with other users under controlled conditions (public rooms or
approved requests).
We never store your IP address.
No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100%
secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your
data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted
on this page with an updated "Last updated" date at the top.
For material changes, we will notify users via an in-app notice or a
prominent notice on this page prior to the change becoming effective.
Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your
acceptance of the updated policy.
